Free Car Coloring Pages
If you have boys in your family, this blog post is for you! I have three boys, and all of them love cars! Even my youngest, who is only 21 months old, loves cars and carries them around with him all the time. He even keeps them when he falls asleep. That is so cute!

The Joy of Coloring Cars
I believe this blog post will benefit your family a lot! Here you can get FREE printable car coloring pages for your children. You can print them out and color some of your favorite cars using your favorite colors. Does your child have a favorite car? Do they prefer police cars, race cars, monster trucks, or just a single pickup truck? Either way, you will get to print the PDF coloring pages and look at them together with your children. Let them choose and decide for themselves what kind of car they want to color. This is also a great way for young artists to practice their fine motor skills.
The free coloring pages are suitable for kids of all ages. However, some of the coloring pages are more advanced and therefore more suitable for older kids. To get started, you will need to provide your children with pencils in different bright colors (my kids love bright colors) that they can use to color their printable pictures. Print them out and let the fun begin! For more detailed coloring supplies, read further!
Disney Cars: The Lightning McQueen
We had a time period in our home when Lightning McQueen was the thing! We printed out different Lightning McQueen coloring pages, baked Lightning McQueen birthday cakes, and let the kids watch the Lightning McQueen movie! Also, one of my boys wore a Lightning McQueen T-shirt, played with a Lightning McQueen puzzle, and used Lightning McQueen stickers. These stickers are still on one of our pieces of furniture! In other words, this Disney car was their favorite back then!
When I think about it, my guess is that the high speeds, bright colors, detailed patterns, and funny faces are all part of what makes Disney cars so attractive to children. The vibrant colors make the cars very compelling and interesting to kids. Maybe your child has another favorite car, that is, a different car from the Lightning McQueen car? My hope is that some of the coloring pictures include your child’s favorite car! I hope these printable files will make coloring fun and enjoyable for your kids!

Coloring on Summer Road Trips
Are you going somewhere this summer? A fun craft to take with you is the free printable cars! They are easy to take with you in the car and to the camping lot. On rainy days, you will need something creative and fun to engage those young minds!
Imagine you and your child sitting in a caravan or lying in a tent, listening to the rain outside and coloring together with a cup of hot chocolate and crackers! I get warm feelings just thinking about it! Providing the children with both coloring supplies and creative car coloring pages will help them get started on a fun journey! Below you can see what kind of supplies might be needed for this coloring activity.
As you know, coloring can be both fun and a relaxing activity for the whole family. Taking the time to color with your child will be a perfect way to bond with them. You do not need much to get started, but here is a list of coloring supplies that will help them have a pleasant coloring experience:
Coloring Pages: Print the free coloring book on good quality paper. Get the PDF through the link below!
Coloring Tools: Crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Provide them in different colors and with different tip sizes. You can also use watercolors, though these require watercolor-compatible paper
Paper: Standard printer paper is fine. For markers and watercolors, thicker paper or cardstock is recommended to prevent bleeding and warping.
Erasers: Kneaded erasers are useful for colored pencils. They can be shaped to erase small areas. Vinyl erasers are effective for clean erasing without smudging.
Sharpeners: Handheld sharpeners are convenient and portable. Electric sharpeners are faster and provide a consistent point.
Storage: Keep your colored pencils and pens organized with pencil cases. Use marker organizers for easy access and organization
Protective Surfaces: Protect your work surface from marker bleed-through or paint spills with a table cover. Use clipboards or drawing boards that provide a sturdy surface if you are working away from a table.
Scissors: Provide scissors for kids to cut out the different cars if they are up for that.

If you are on the road, you might keep it simpler with only a small pencil case with a few simple coloring pencils. There is no need to have lots of stuff with you while traveling. You can also print the coloring pages on smaller paper sizes for convenience.
Coloring Together: Quality Time
We moms want to create good memories with our children, right? We want our children to thrive and feel loved throughout their childhood. Our wish is for our children to love their childhood and have great memories to look back on later in life. Some of my best childhood memories were when we did something together, either played or traveled together.
Taking the time to be present with your kids, sit down by their side, and color with them will make them feel seen, heard, and loved. If using the free coloring pages from this blog, you can either color the same car coloring sheet together or each have your own car coloring page. Either way, the child will enjoy your presence and interest. Also, having small talk around this activity gives the child the opportunity to open up and talk about the things on their heart.
Sometimes even silence is a type of bonding between you and your child. The silence and the fact that you are working together are what make it a great experience. The kids will forever remember that you were there and took the time to be with them. Often we think we have to do so many things to make our kids happy. Yet, they also enjoy the moments when we just “are.” We parents need that time too. For me personally, I definitely love the silence while working together with people I love.

The Free Coloring Pages
Here’s what’s included in the free coloring pages:
- Vintage car coloring page
- Race car coloring page
- Classic car coloring page
- Jeep coloring page
- Cute car coloring page
- And much more!
The coloring pages have cars that are outlined, with plenty of space to color. Some of the pictures have large cars, while others have smaller cars but many different cars on the same page. The coloring pages are designed to meet a broader audience, not only very young children but also older children who like detailed and advanced patterns.

As I have been designing the coloring pages, my oldest has sat beside me at times, giving input and thoughts. My goal is for these to be appealing and fun for kids. Therefore, I have asked him if he would like to color these pages, and the answer was, without hesitation, “yes!”
Therefore I gladly hand the car coloring packet to you, my friend! Please, print them out and enjoy them!
