Valentine’s Day Bible Verses
I Corinthians 16:14: Let all that you do be done with love.
I Corinthians 13:4-8: Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

I Peter 4:8: And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
I Corinthians 13:13: And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
John 13:34-35: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Galatians 5:13-14: For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I John 4:19: We love Him because He first loved us.
I John 4:8: He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Song of Solomon 2:16: My beloved is mine, and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lilies.
Song of Solomon 4:10: How fair is your love, My sister, my spouse! How much better than wine is your love, And the scent of your perfumes Than all spices!
God’s Word is amazing! It shows us what love is and how to practice it. It reveals what “real love” looks like, and Jesus has given us the greatest example of love—as a servant and also when He gave us the greatest gift one can ever give: His own life.

Using visual arts will help children better understand the love of God. When teaching children, especially young ones, I usually keep the lessons short, as they cannot comprehend too much or grasp too many things at the same time. A little here and there is a great way to teach them. Also, showing interest in their work and spending some time coloring with them can help foster meaningful conversations. This is just one example of a fun way to teach.
A homeschooling mother always has plenty of responsibilities at home, but setting aside time to be truly present with her child is crucial. This helps build a strong bond, and the child will feel valued and important. In turn, they will be more likely to listen and remember what has been taught. Next time you teach your child about God’s love, they might remember the pictures and hearts from these Christian Valentine’s Day coloring pages.
How to Use the Finished Product
When your kids have finished their coloring activity, they can either give it to a family member, a friend, or a relative, or they can display it on a bulletin board. Ask them how they would like to share their work with others. By doing so, they are learning how to show God’s love to those around them.

This is just one of many creative ways to teach young children about God’s love and how to practice it. Asking the Holy Spirit for guidance and help will also be beneficial in your work, as you are teaching them how to be the light of the world—which is amazing! You are doing an incredible job, mama!
With that said, I wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
